About us
In 1999 TNT TATTOO STUDIO was founded by Carlos Ruiz, being the first tattoo studio open to the public in Marbella, giving visibility to the world of piercing, body modification and tattooing.
In 2010 Tommy Loeb, who came from the world of graffiti and vehicle customization, joined the TNT team as Carlos´ apprentice in the old school style. Besides creating a great friendship between the two, they shared several passions such as custom vehicles, especially motorbikes.
By 2012, Tommy was officially working as a tattoo artist, focusing on colour/newschool, black and grey and Japanese style tattoos, while Carlos started other projects. Tommy took over the studio as owner and created a new team with guest artists such as La Jaida (Granada), Mariló Fernández (Málaga) and David de Palma (Valencia).
OUR ARTISTS
At the beginning of 2018 Carlos retires as a tattoo artist, leaving Tommy and Alex in the studio until today, working together and occasionally inviting guest artists.
After some time working together, the family grew in 2014 with Alexander Marquez, also known as Elgeis joining the TNT team.
Already an illustrator, he decided to focus on learning how to bring his illustration, watercolour and sketch styles to tattooing. He also learned from Carlos and various seminars to become a highly reputable piercer, soon becoming a resident tattooist and piercer.
Our studio has always grown by working with each other in a very friendly and familiar way, in the same way that we like to make our clients feel, being a part of our history.
