TATTOO REMOVAL BY PICO-LASER

WHAT IS
PICOLASER SPT?

The SPT (Speed Pigmentations Tattoos) picosecond laser is the new medical aesthetic technology designed primarily for the removal of pigmented lesions and tattoos as well as for lightening and evening out the skin.

The picosecond laser compared to the traditional laser has a much shorter pulse duration and is much more powerful on the target area to be treated and, to a large extent, less aggressive on the superficial layers of the skin. Its effectiveness is based on the principle of “light-induced ejection”

Thanks to the ultra-short high-power pulses it emits, the energy passes instantly through the epidermis and breaks the melanin in pigmentations or tattoo ink into tiny fragments, which are then absorbed by macrophages and gradually eliminated.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Picolaser SPT can work in two wavelengths of 1064 nm and 532 nm. It has an innovative optical technology that is able to capture and focus more than 70% of the energy emitted by the laser. This generates a highly effective shock wave that is capable of:

  • Breaking up melanocytes.
  • Transfer the shockwave to the dermis and thus promote the renewal and formation of collagen and elastic fibres.
  • Accelerate skin metabolism and melanin elimination, to solve the problem of deep root pigment.

TREATMENT AND PROTOCOL

Our picosecond laser is completely safe and can be used on virtually all skin types. It removes all types of tattoos of various shades, from the darkest colours such as black and blue to the lightest colours such as red, orange or purple. We can also work on pigmented skin lesions as well as moles and spots of different types. The number of sessions required for the removal of tattoos varies depending on the kind of pigment, mode of application and the characteristics of each patient.

We all have regrets about things we have done in the past, the good thing about Picolaser SPT is that it can erase that “mistake”. The treatment can be applied to remove tattoos and pigmented lesions of various shades, from dark colours, such as black or blue, to lighter colours, such as red, orange or purple.
